JAMMU, July 8: BJP leaders protest has proved the worst ever crisis of water and power in Jammu and total failure of the present Government in providing the basic amenities to the people.
In a joint press statement here today, several senior Congress leaders said that situation is such on this front that even leaders of the ruling party are coming on roads to protest against their own government, as State is directly under Central rule.
“It was BJP which ruled the state since 2014 and represented Jammu region. It was BJP which was responsible to augmentation of the supply position of water and power. However, the situation worsened during past five years because of the acts of omissions and commissions by the PDP-BJP Government, as a result of this, there has been lot of deprivation in the situation. The BJP’s owes an explanation for the worst situation on water and power front in entire Jammu,” they added.
Signatories to the statement include, Mula Ram, Raman Bhalla, Kanta Bhan, Ravinder Sharma, Rajnish Sharma, Manmohan Singh, Shah Mohammad Chowdhary and Ch Shah Nawaz.
