JAMMU, Mar 29:  Former Minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla has accused BJP-PDP of leaving State in “tatters”, alleging that both the parties are staying away from Government formation in an attempt to undo the “wrongs” which led to “political and economic uncertainty” in the State.
“Both the parties instead of giving sermons should introspect. They promised huge economic and political packages but nothing happened during the 10-month of its rule,” Bhalla said while addressing party workers in Gandhi Nagar constituency today.
He alleged that the PDP and BJP have together done such a thing which the people of the State have never imagined. “For their petty political considerations, the two parties have created a wedge among the people of all the three regions. Now, the situation has reached to such a point where the people hate each other,” Mr Bhalla maintained.
The Congress leader blamed PDP-BJP for the implementation of Food Security Act in the State and claimed that it has deprived the people of ration. “Its anti-youth policies generated anger among the youth.
He asked the PDP and BJP to shun public posturing and come out clear on the issue of Government formation in the State as people were suffering because of the political uncertainty. Bhalla alleged the people of the State have been pushed into a situation of confusion and chaos because of the delay due to public posturing by the two parties over Government formation.
Bhalla said  Mehbooba Mufti has herself admitted that people of J&K did not benefit from 10 month long PDP-BJP Government, one wonders who the actual beneficiary of this alliance was. With every passing day, the uncertainty keeps growing and for a State-torn by conflict and political turmoil – this has potential long-term implication on peace and stability, he added.
