SAMBA, Sept 12: Describing BJP-PDP Govt as non-performer, Pradesh Mahila Congress chief, Indu Pawar (Ex-MLA) today asked the women activists of the party to reach out to the public and project their issues.
Addressing a meeting of the Mahila Congress at Nanke Chak near border in district Samba, Pradesh Mahila Congress president Ms Pawar appealed to the Maila activists to reach to the public and project their issues before the concerned authorities.
She further stressed that regular meeting of the party at grassroot level and reaching to people will strengthen the party. She asked the party activists to maintain worker to worker contact for highlighting issues and also finding their solutions.
She impressed on workers that present Coalition Government in the State has proved non-performer and the public at large scale is not happy. Common man is suffering due to price rise of essential eatables and goods. There is large scale un-employment and the youth are frustrated. Peace in the State has disturbed to such a situation that a common man feels cheated due to wrong promises made during elections by the BJP as well as PDP.
Ms Pawar said that public at large has a great hope from the Congress Party and Congress has always stood for the weaker sections and also for justice to all.
She encouraged women workers of the party and said that Mahila Congress always highlights problems of common man and help mitigating problems of sufferers.
The meeting was organized by Champa Devi, District president, Samba. Others who spoke on the occasion included Champa Devi, Block president Sureshta Devi (Vijaypur), Kailasho Devi (Samba), Kamlesh (Purmandal) and Vimal Devi (Gaghwal Block president).
