JAMMU, July 14: BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today visited the far off and remote Sadyal and Manjakote villages of Rajouri and held a series of meetings with the local people there. During tour, he held one to one interaction with the locals and gave a patient hearing to their genuine problems and concerns.
Addressing the gatherings in these villages, Vibodh assured them of his full support for early redressal of these issues by taking them with the concerned quarters. He informed the people that during the recently concluded month long Assembly session in Kashmir, he ensured to raise every issue related to the welfare and development of Rajouri and Poonch districts.
He said that he tried to make use of every possible opportunity in the Upper House to raise issues related to unemployed youth and regularization of daily wagers. He further added that he laid a special stress on the issues related to roads, water and electricity supply in Rajouri and Poonch. He also highlighted that present BJP-PDP coalition is fully committed towards development of the State and these efforts will ensure in making the State a model State in the coming years. With all possible support from the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many developmental works have been initiated in the State and these have started showing impact on the ground. At the same time he confessed that a lot more hard work needs to be done to take the State out of present situation.
