JAMMU, Nov 8: On second day of nomination papers for Phase-II of polling for 18 Assembly seats in the State, only two candidates filed their nomination papers for Gool-Arnas and Gulabgarh Assembly constituencies in Reasi district.
BJP leader Kuldeep Dubey alias Mangu Shah filed his nomination papers in the presence of a large number of people before the Returning Officer of the constituency in Arnas. BJP state president and MP from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat joined the BJP candidate in filing nomination papers.
PDP candidate from Gulabgarh Assembly constituency Shafiq-ur-Rehman also filed his papers today in Gulabgarh in the presence of a massive crowd.
Nominations for second phase of polling will close on November 14. Polling will be held on December 2.
