JAMMU, June 15: Senior leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir paid glowing tributes to former MLA and senior party leader, Rajesh Gupta, who breathed his last recently at a “Shradhanjali Sabha” organized at party headquarter, here, today.
J&K BJP general secretary (Org.), Ashok Koul, former Dy. Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, party vice-president, Yudhvir Sethi, vice-president Anuradha Charak, former MLC & BJP general secretary, Vibodh Gupta, BJP headquarter in charge, Priya Sethi, former MLC, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, secretary, Arvind Gupta, secretary, Rekha Mahajan, chief spokesperson, Sunil Sethi, district president, Vinay Gupta and other leaders paid tributes to the departed soul.

Ashok Koul, while paying tributes to the departed soul, termed Rajesh Gupta as a ground level worker dedicated to his task. He said that Rajesh Gupta was always determined to lead from the front. He worked hard amongst the people and gained their confidence. His sole aim was the development of the area and the welfare of the people, while he served as the public representative. He asked the younger generation to take lessons from his life and serve the society in a selfless manner.
Kavinder Gupta could not hold back his tears while remembering the time spent with former MLA. He remembered their long association starting from booth level worker to various organizational posts and their companionship in JMC and in the Assembly.
Sat Sharma said that they have lost a good companion and a good soul and shared life experiences highlighting strong organizational dedication of former MLA Rajesh Gupta.
Yudhvir Sethi remembered the noble soul stating that Rajesh Gupta was a ground level activist who has contributed majorly in strengthening the organization.
Priya Sethi said that in this tough hour the whole of BJP stands with the bereaved family. Vinay Gupta also recalled the role of late leader.
