SRINAGAR, Nov 1: BJP paid glowing tribute to Parihar brothers on their fourth martyrdom day here, today.
The tribute giving programme was organised by the party under the leadership of Ashok Bhat district president BJP Srinagar and Sunil Sharma party UT general secretary and former Minister chaired the function.
The party leaders paid rich tribute to Parihar brothers namely Anil Parihar former secretary of the party and Ajeet Parihar on their death anniversary who attained martyrdom on this day in 2018.
Ashok Bhat, while addressing on the occasion said that they were very active and worked for strengthening the party and their contribution can’t be forgotten.
Sunil Sharma also spoke on the occasion and said “I had very close relations with them and have worked together for the party and I fully know about their contribution to the party who had worked not only in Jammu region but also in Kashmir as well,. Their separation from us is an irreparable loss to the party”. He prayed for the peace of the departed souls and wished all the best to their family.
On the occasion two minutes silence was also observed for their eternal peace. Other leaders who were present included Altaf Thakur, Bilal Parray, Shalinder Singh, Bashir Ahmed Mir, Syed Shujat Rizvi, Riyaz Ahmed, Uzair Beigh, Farooq Ahmed Reshi, Asif Khan, Sahil Ahmed, Sajid Ahmed, Gh Rasool, all constituency presidents and Yuva Morcha leaders.
