JAMMU, Mar 6: The pro-nation, pro-people, programmes and policies of the BJP-led NDA Government under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has earned very high place among the people across the country, with maximum population of Jammu and Kashmir too, showing inclination towards this party.
This was stated by BJP senior leader & former Minister, Sat Sharma CA, while interacting with a large number of people during his weekly public Darbar at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, on Wednesday.
Sat Sharma said almost on daily basis, large number of people associated with the Congress, NC and PDP, are joining the BJP at different levels in Jammu and Kashmir. Many of them are the tallest leaders of these parties and now shifting their political loyalty towards BJP on having realized that it is BJP and the PM Modi who have the real concern for the development and welfare of the people.
BJP SC Morcha Seh-Prabhari, Jeet Angral and RMSA in charge, Ankush Mahajan, assisted the former Minister in conducting the proceedings of the public darbar.
Sat Sharma said that gone are the days when the Congress, NC and PDP, could misled the people on the name of religion, region for political gains but today this is not possible. People are more aware, have access to modern and fast means of information and have, thus concluded that it is the BJP and the PM Narendra Modi, who have made honest efforts to put Jammu and Kashmir on the path of peace, progress and prosperity.
The BJP has done that which could not be done in the 70 years rule of non-BJP political parties, he said.
In the public darbar, people reached the party Headquarter from Nanak Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Akhnoor, Udhampur, Jalochak, Pulwama, Bohri, Dagiana, Samba, R.S. Pura, Nai Basti, Roop Nagar, Muthi and other areas. They sought help in mitigating their problems related to old age pension, up gradation of transformer, repair of village road, replacement of damaged wires, covering of open nallah, release of retirement benefits etc. These were taken up with the concerned departments for early disposal.
