JAMMU, Sept 6: In a humanitarian gesture, BJP MLA from Vijaypur, Chander Parkash Ganga distributed essential ration kits to families severely affected by the recent floods in Purmandal area. The relief drive was organized to provide immediate support to those who have lost their belongings and livelihood due to the calamity.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA assured that he is committed to extend all possible assistance to the affected families. “No one will be left behind in this difficult time. The State and Central Governments are working together to provide timely relief and rehabilitation,” the MLA said.
The ration kits included rice, pulses, wheat flour, edible oil, salt, and other daily essentials. Hundreds of families benefited from the distribution programme. Local BJP workers and volunteers actively participated in identifying the affected households and ensuring smooth distribution.
Ganga also appealed to the people to stay united and strong during this crisis, assuring them that further relief measures and rehabilitation initiatives will folllow.
