BJP leader inaugurates e-shram registration camp

JAMMU, Nov 30: Senior BJP leader and All Morcha incharge of party, Munish Sharma today inaugurated e-shram registration camp in presence of Shrey Sethi vice president BJYM, Ajay Anand co-incharge BJP Department of Information Technology at Atal Auto Stand in Ward No 27 of Bakshi Nagar.
Camp was organised by Transport Cell, president and BJP worker Sardar Hardev Singh for registration of unorganized workers on e-shram portal. Registration will require Aadhaar details, bank account number linked with Aadhar card and age limit of 18 to 59.
Inaugurating the camp, Munish Sharma distributed the e-shram card among the construction workers, domestic workers, migrant workers, street vendors and urged them all to come forward in maximum numbers and get themselves registered on the e-shram portal to get access to the benefits of various social security and employment base scheme launched by the Government.
Highlighting the various benefits to workers from registering in e-shram portal, Munish Sharma said that in future all social benefits to the unrecognised workers would be delivered through this portal even in emergency times like COVID 19 pandemic. After registering workers will also get accidental insurance cover including permanent disability of Rs two lakh and Rs one lakh for partial disability.
