KATHUA, Jan 8: A deputation of Kashmiri Displaced District BJP led by its president, T N Bhat called on Relief and Rehabilitation Secretary, Simrandeep Singh here, today and submitted a memorandum to him highlighting the various issues concerning displaced Pandits living in camp and non camp areas.
The delegation demanded regularization of migrant families living in ORT Purkhoo for years together, supply of pure water to Jagti township and renovation of migrant quarters on priority basis.
The Secretary assured the delegation that the problems will be redressed on priority basis. Bushan Lal, V N Raina, Kamal Warikoo, Neeru and Sharda were the other members of the delegation.
