JAMMU, June 1: A delegation constituting stranded Sarpanches, Panches and Councillors from Kashmir in Jammu met senior BJP leader and general secretary, Vibodh Gupta at BJP headquarters and discussed various key points to expand party foothold in Kashmir.
The members of the delegation led by Rakesh Koul, councillor and vice president district BJP Anantnag complimented Vibodh Gupta on his appointment as BJP’s incharge for Kashmir division. The members further drew his attention towards various important issues concerning the safety and security of Kashmir.
Talking to delegation Vibodh said that Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has bestowed him with an opportunity to serve the people of Kashmir. “I will serve the valley with utmost dedication and commitment”, he added.
Speaking on his vision of Kashmir, Gupta said that he will promote local level interaction in order to erase misleading information and statements advertised by separatist in the Valley. He strongly asserted that both land and people of Kashmir belong to India and Modi Government is committed for their safety and security.
Gupta further said that to grow confidence among the youth of Kashmir will be his top agenda. He said that the youth of Kashmir has high potential and can emerge as strength of nation. He further said that with collective efforts truth, peace and prosperity will triumph over lies spread by separatist.
