BJP Kashmir holds seminar, rally on CAA

JAMMU, Dec 25: A seminar on Citizens Amendment Act was organised by BJP Kashmir Displaced District at Jagti township today which besides intellectuals, legal luminaries, BJP activists was also attended by the inmates of the township.
The BJP Spokesperson, Brig (retd) Anil Gupta was the chief guest in the seminar while ex MLC and vice president of the party, Ajay Bharti and Nand Kishore Shamra its another leader were the guests of honour.
President of the Displaced District, T N Bhat said that passage of CAA is a great and historic decision of the Narendra Modi Government and entire Kashmiri Pandit community welcomed the decision. He also supported the NRC. He said the CAA will provide justice to the minorities who were persecuted in three neighboring Islamic countries by the tyrant governments there since 1947.
Brig Anil Gupta while addressing the gathering explained in detail the necessity of the Bill for those minorities who took refuge in India due to atrocities committed on them in neighboring countries on the basis of religion. This Bill would provide them all the citizenship rights under Indian Constitution. He also cautioned the people against the vested elements who are misleading the innocent masses on the name of the Bill.
Nand Kishore Sharma said that Kashmiri Pandits have whole heartedly supported the Bill which is a historic decision of Modi Government.
Ajay Bharti ex MLC said the Bill will pave a way for the betterment of those minorities who had suffered great atrocities and mental agony in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan since 1947 on the basis of the religion and took refuge in India. This Bill would provide justice to the families now who were deprived of their citizenship rights by previous governments and people of this country are highly thankful to PM Narendra Modi and HM , Amit Shah with whose well thought out machination and wisdom this Bill was passed.
Chand Ji Bhat ex president of displaced district also complimented Union Government on the passage of the Bill, Others who were present in the seminar included Virender Sathu, Vinod Pandita, Vishal Jotshi, Bharat Bushan Gosani, Shiban Ji, Ashok Kumar Koul, Roop Ji, Makhan Lal and Vimal Ji Raina.
They later took out a rally in support of the Bill.
