BJP Kashmir for one employee per displaced family

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Mar 12: BJP Kashmir Displaced Unit has demanded that at least one employee per family should be the criteria of the recruitment policy of the Government for the displaced Pandits from Valley, so that the poor and the unprivileged class of the hapless community would be covered under such policy. The unit while expressing its satisfaction over the decision taken by the present political dispensation both at Centre and State with regard to the announcement of 3000 posts for Kashmiri displaced youths under much talked about PM’s employment package announced way back in 2007, said this decision of present dispensation at State and Centre has generated a hope among the people of the community. It said this announcement has kindred a glimmer of hope in the hearts of the displaced community members viz-a-viz for the mitigation of the miseries compounded by the past political dispensation for the last 25 years. It said this action taken by present dispensation would mean that it is serious with regard to displaced Kashmiri Pandits who are the real aborigines of Kashmir Valley and would certainly give a signal across the Community that they have not been abandoned by either of the Governments. We also fervently demand that an age relaxation problem should also be taken into the consideration sympathetically and seriously.
