JAMMU, Sept 17: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Kargil condemned the PDP’s decision of its alliance with Congress in Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Kargil. BJP president Mohammad Ali Majaz, former party president and senior leader Haji Mohammad Khuddama and spokesperson Subhan Jaffery at a joint press conference here today said that PDP has always ignored BJP in Kargil.
BJP Kargil spokesperson Subhan Jaffery said, “the PDP Kargil particular chairman J&K Legislative Council always underestimated BJP and ignored  us”.
He (Haji Anayat) has never treated us as coalition partner, the PDP has never informed us during any visit of any Ministry from their party to Kargil”, he added.
The party spokesperson also criticised Ladakh Affairs Minister Tsering Dorjey and said, “if this order has been issued from Ladakh Affairs Ministry then the Ministry will have to pay huge price for it”.
Talking about UT the BJP Kargil has said that it’s the demand of the people of Leh district not only the BJP agenda. He said, “every party in Leh demanding UT, it’s not BJP’s party agenda”.
Challenging Haji Anayat Ali, Subhan Jaffery said, “Haji Anayat had  visited Islamia School in absence of its president. I challenge him if he can collect 5000 people on PDP’s name, which I am sure he can’t”.
The BJP Kargil also warned its State leaders to beware from PDP from any deception.
“Alliance about PDP-Congress was a kind deception against BJP as it is already running Coalition Government in the State.  Even the Deputy Chief Minister was not aware about it “. Jaffery added.
It’s pertinent to mention here that after forming the new LAHDC in Kargil yesterday, the Chief Executive Councillor Kacho Ahmed Ali Khan, PDP Kargil and its political alliance leaders are busy in choosing Executive body. Sources said that the lobbying for executive berth is going on.
