KARGIL (Ladakh), July 1: The Narendra Modi Government which completed its four years in office recently has introduced a number of reforms that have been appreciated by the people of the country during this period.
This was stated by BJP leaders from Kargil at a press conference here, today. The press conference was organised by BJP Unit Kargil at Head Office near Poyen Kargil district to present the last four year achievements of NDA led Government in India, ‘Char Saal Baimesal’.
They said the BJP has decided to celebrate the day in a number of ways. The party also launched a new slogan “‘Saaf Niyat, Sahi Vikas” (clean intentions, right development), to mark the fourth anniversary of BJP led NDA Government, they added.
The party leaders highlighted various schemes that were launched by the present Government and the theme of the celebration would largely be the pro-poor initiatives of the Government, such as Ujjawala Yojana, Saubhagya Yojana, Prime Minister, Awas Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, Prime Minister’s Fasal Bima Yojna, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojna etc which are benefiting the people.
Mohd Ali Majaz, president BJP Unit Kargil briefed about various works and achievements of the present Government in Ladakh which includes, long pending demands like the Zojila Tunnel, UDAN air connectivity, AMRUT and 4G internet connections, Special 10% allowance for employees, Zanskar to Kargil road given to National Highway Development Authority (NHDA).
He also talked about various funds allocated in the different sectors for development of Kargil which includes Rs 22,100 lakh under PMGSY Roads, 120 cr from PMDP, under CRF Rs 100 cr has been approved by the Government , to promote the Pashmina etc.
He said Narendra Modi Government ended an era of instability and has delivered on its two key promises, that it will work for the poor, Dalits, Muslims, tribals, backwards, farmers and village and that it will raise India’s esteem in the world. It has fulfilled these promises, he said.
Mohd Qasim senior BJP member, Mohd Hassan Pasha BJYM State secretary, Mohd Hussain, president BJYM Kargil also spoke about the achievements of Modi Government.
