JAMMU, Dec 7: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh conducted a meeting of its newly elected District and Mandal Presidents at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here.
BJP State President Ravinder Raina accompanied by Member of Parliament Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma and BJP State General Secretary (Org) AshoK Kaul chaired the meeting, congratulating all for their new responsibilities as well as making them aware of their huge responsibilities.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting, said that the BJP holds the distinction of being only the true Democratic Party.
He claimed that only the BJP holds the very basic principle of democracy in the highest moral spirits. He apprised that the BJP has now covered almost more than half of the total internal democratic festival of organization giving new Booth Presidents, Mandal Presidents and now the District Presidents. He congratulated all that they have stood witness to such an exhaustive process of elections on PAN India level.
He congratulated all the new activists that have been endowed with the herculean responsibility of party’s Presidents at various levels and asked them to put their all energy for the new job as they have to withstand the pressure of organizational principles as well as the public issues which will surely drain their energy for a better future of society and the Nation.
Jugal Kishore, in his address, laid emphasis on the need of this whole democratic exercise. He said that this while process enables the party activist to prove mettle for the new responsibility giving new energy for every job. He said that this change of posts is an essential process for keeping the organization healthy as it also gives new candidates who can meet the expectations of the party and the public.
Ashok Kaul, congratulating all the new faces, prompted all to work for the extension of party principles and ideology in the public while working for the development of the region. He asked them to take guidance from all the seniors while assuming the chairs and proceed with utmost patience while working on the chair.
