JAMMU, July 3: BJP Gandhi Nagar Mandal organized its working committee meeting at BJP Head Office, which was attended by Gandhi Nagar MLA and Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, Mandal president Ankush Gupta, BJP State Organization general secretary Ashok Koul, Jammu district president Baldev Bilawaria and State all Cells Incharge S Varinder Jeet Singh, State secretary Anuradha Charak and others.
The concluding session was conducted by Kavinder Gupta, who shared experiences of his political career with the party workers and told them to be prepared for the upcoming local body elections. He told the workers to collate and bring the needs and requirements of their areas to the notice of his office. He said that unlike his predecessors who had a short term vision, the development works now are being done with long term horizon. He said that his aim is to make Gandhi Nagar as a model constituency in next 5 years.
BJP Organization general secretary Ashok Koul informed the team about the upcoming programs of the party and asked the Mandal team to keep exhibiting the similar vigor and involvement levels as done in the recent concluded programs.
Earlier, Ankush Gupta gave detailed report about the progress of programs which were given to Mandal by party in last executive meeting and about the programs which Mandal team is going to take up in the next three months.
Anuradha Charak spoke about the organizational matters and brought into the notice about the expectations of organization from the Gandhi Nagar Mandal.
Baldev Bilawaria apprised the Gandhi Nagar Mandal team about various achievements of Central as well as State Government. He drew attention towards various projects, being taken up or sanctioned by the Government for implementation in the State of J&K.
District general secretary Sunil Sharma and district vice president Surjit Singh (Pappu Choudhary) took a ward wise stock of implementation of party programs from respective ward presidents.
The entire proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Kulbir Charak and Gurmeet Randhawa. Surjit Singh (Pappu Choudhary) delivered the vote of thanks.
