BJP failed to fulfill promises with militancy victims: Bhandari

JAMMU, Oct 23: Expressing grave concern over the delaying tactics adopted by Government in providing relief benefits to militancy victims from Doda, Kishtwar and other areas of Jammu province, Senior Congress leader Shamsher Singh Bhandari said that BJP is backtracking from its promises to militancy victims in the State.
In a statement issued here today he said that BJP had assured to give at par benefits to the militancy victims of Jammu with other migrants from Valley who took refuge in Jammu and other parts of the region after being forced to flee from hilly belt due to the killings by terrorists and massacres at various places.
But these victims are still facing injustice and their cases for registration as migrants are pending in offices without disposal for years tighter.
Bhandari demanded that the BJP should fulfill its promise as the party is running the Government and in the State and provide benefits to these hapless people.
