UDHAMPUR, Oct 6: BJP office bearers here today distributed relief material in the shape of steel/Iron sheets among the victims of recent floods in the different parts of the district.
This relief material was provided by SSGMCE, Shigam College of Engineering and it was distributed by Ghansham Sharma on behalf of Shigam College of Engineering batch mates of 1991 along with BJP office bearers and workers.
Speaking on this occasion, BJP State Secretary Pawan Khajuria said that the victims of flood are facing much hardship as they have to construct new houses which is very costlier these days. So, BJP decided to help them by distributing Steel/Iron Sheets so that at least they could construct houses and have shelter. Meanwhile a housewife Nirmal Devi who is also the victim of recent floods said that since her house was destroyed by the floods, she along with her family was living in a single room rental accommodation. But now with the help of BJP their house would be constructed and they will live in their own house.
