JAMMU, Nov 20: Spokesman of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), YV Sharma today said that BJP is confusing the people of the State by its double talk on the burning issues of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement, Sharma said that the BJP has a history of confusing the issues by taking in different shades at the same time. During Lok Sabha (LS) elections the BJP raised the issue of Article 370 and after winning the LS polls one of the prominent leaders of the BJP in the State declared that the Article 370 would be abrogated. But now at the time of State Assembly elections the BJP is silent on the issue with Raj Nath Singh, the Union Home Minister saying that the Article 370 will not be an issue in the Assembly election.
Perhaps, they have realized the people would not buy their agenda, as they understand fairly well it is possible to befool some people for some times but not possible to befool all the people for all the times, he added.
Sharma also condemned BJP led Central Government for returning the recommendation of State Cabinet to make one time settlement of PoK Chhamb Refugees, and attaching extraneous condition of also sending recommendations for the West Pakistan Refugees.
