BJP committed to overall development of State: Kavinder

JAMMU, Jan 10: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta, reiterated his commitment to ensure overall development of the State with special emphasis on rural and far-off areas.
Gupta said this after kick starting the work of the retaining wall of damaged road in Bhore Camp Ward- 73, to be executed at the estimated cost of Rs 10 lacs, the funds were provided from the CDF of Kavinder Gupta. Highlighting the development initiatives taken by him as a representative of the Constituency, he said that several upgradation and renovation projects have been started in the Constituency during the last three years.
He said that good governance with pragmatic approach at the doorsteps of the people is top priority of BJP. On being apprised of the problems pertaining to road connectivity, water supply, electricity and other basic amenities and developmental needs by locals of the area of Bhore Camp and Govind Pura in Gandhi Nagar Constituency, he said the project of the construction of concrete drain on Balole Nallah has already been submitted to department and soon the project will get final nod for the execution.
He said works for deep drains at different places of Gandhi Nagar Constituency have been approved and the work is under process. Gupta assured them that their genuine concerns would be looked into on priority.
Gupta expressed his gratitude to Governor’s administration and appreciated Governor Satya Pal Malik for his personal involvement in the administrative approvals of developmental works. Locals also appreciated the efforts of the Kavinder Gupta and expressed their gratitude to him for fulfilling the promise regarding construction of retaining wall and taking up their pending demands time to time, on priority.
Gupta was accompanied by Vinay Gupta, Harbans Choudhary, Pitamber Sharma, Ashu Gupta, Rinku Gupta among others.
Meanwhile, Gupta condemned the statement given by Shah Faesal an IAS Officer on quitting Government service on social media. He said India is secular and democratic country where all the citizens are equally treated. There is no question of making Muslims,” 2nd class” citizens as quoted by him. Gupta said the party he is going to join is responsible for the situation of Kashmir. NC and Congress are the real culprits for the current situation. Faesal if joins NC or Congress will prove that he believes in divisive politics.
