BJP should clear stand on Art 370, DPs’ package: Sham

AKHNOOR, Nov 25: Minister for PHE, I&FC Sham Lal Sharma today said that BJP should clear its stand on Article 370 and PoJK, West Pakistan and Chhamb refugees settlement and their package.
Addressing series of public meetings in Akhnoor constituency today Mr Sharma alleged that BJP and its leadership is creating un-certain environment in militancy affected State. He blamed them to pursue their sinister and nefarious divisive political designs. The people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh will out rightly reject them for double speak, he maintained.
Mr Sharma questioned the BJP political morality and asked its leadership how people may believe and trust such forces which are self confusing on each major political issues of J&K State historical ties as well as future popular aspirations of betterment. He said on Article 370 which is the only bridge to maintain our relation with Union of India, the BJP for decades demanded its abrogation and now allegedly has hidden agenda but reluctant to speak its mind and claiming to defer the issue for time as it is trying its luck in Kashmir valley.
He alleged that confused BJP is over ambitious to grab power in State. It is playing with the livelihood/survival of worst affected struggling people of the State and is getting exposed after its Government at the Centre rejected the State Government proposal of one time settlement of DPs of PoJK. Mr Sharma assured them his whole hearted support and stated that Congress stands behind them and shall fight strongly for the package.
He reiterated that Central Government should clear its stand on DPs/PoJK refugees for one time settlement. Mr Sharma said Regional Development Councils, particularly for Jammu will be one step ahead to address the Jammu’s people cause as well as addressing the decades old injustice done to them by the Kashmiri predominated regimes. Mr Sharma stated that Jammu region will be next political focal point and he reiterated that during his 12 years tenure as Legislator from Akhnoor Constituency it has always remained his sole agenda little worrying about political power to re-pledge to see next Chief Minister from Jammu.
