BJP cautions people against Oppn parties’ false propaganda

KATHUA, Feb 13: BJP today cautioned the people against those elements who are misleading the public opinion and spreading canards against the Narendra Modi led Union Government as well as State BJP leadership.
The BJP district president, Prem Nath Dogra while addressing a press conference here, today allayed fears about Shahpur Kandi Project and said that the same was not in the itinerary of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Jammu as the work on the project is going on with full pace. He said some disgruntled opposition parties are misleading the people that PM did not lay foundation of the project. When work has already started on the project there was no fun of laying the foundation stone, he added.
He said that during last over four and half years a record number of developmental projects were started in Kathua district as well as Kathua, Udhampur, Doda Constituency the credit of which directly goes to Union Minster and local MP, Dr Jitendra Singh.
He said people of Kathua compliment him for starting work on Highway Village near Kathua, flagging off DMU from Jammu to Pathankot, taking the decision on Ujh Project, construction of Kerriyan Gandial bridge, Seed Processing Plant, Biotech Park at Ghatti, Rs 42 crore road from Lakhanpur to Thein, Rs 37 crore road from to Hatli Gunni, declaration of Dayalachak to Challa road as National Highway and Rs 37 crore Chadwal to Paharpur road.
The BJP leader also lambasted the NC and PDP leaders for not mustering courage in calling Afzal Guru and Burhan Wani as terrorists and stone pelters as anti nationals. He accused Congress, NC and PDP for enacting Roshni act to change demography of Jammu.
He said these parties denied the rights to West Pak refugees during last 70 years while brought Rohingyas to Jammu and settled them over here. These parties even did not spoke a word when over four lakh Kashmiri Hindus were forced to leave Valley.
He said the works initiated by Dr Jitendra Singh in his Constituency will show results within years and will prove game changer for Jammu. Dr Narindera Singh, Shashi Pal Sharma, Anirudh, Dalbir Singh, Rajesh Mehta and Sanjay Sharma were other BJP leaders present in press conference.
