JAMMU, Oct 10: Criticising the administration for harassing its activists, BJP today gave a call for Rajouri march tomorrow.
The call was given at a joint press conference by three BJP senior leaders, including party senior vice president, Chander Parkash Ganga, party general secretary, Kavinder Gupta and Jammu -Poonch Parliamentary incharge Yudhvir Sethi here.
The Rajouri chalo march will start from BJP headquarters here and it will be led by party State president, Jugal Kishore Sharma, said Mr Ganga. The party MLAs and other senior leaders will participate in it, he added.
He said the march will start from BJP Headquarters Kachi Chawni and Party activists at Muthi, Karan Palace near Damana, Akhnoor, Sunderbani, and Nowshera will join it.
The Government should immediately release the innocent youth as well as activists of BJYM, said Kavinder Gupta and also arrest those people who were responsible for attacking Shakha and insulting the Bhagwa Dhawaj to create communal disturbances in the town.
The BJP leaders alleged some elements are hell bent in creating communal disturbances in the border district and this will not be allowed to happen.
They accused the administration of being partisan and said that incase the arrested people were not released by tomorrow morning the Party will take the march and also launch the agitation.
They said under a conspiracy efforts are being made to disturb the peace in Jammu region too and the administration instead of curbing such elements was harassing innocent people and BJP will not be a mute spectator to this all.
