JAMMU, Aug 26: Yudhvir Sethi, BJP vice president, Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirmed the party’s commitment to effectively addressing the concerns and issues of the people through its own grievance redressal mechanism which aims to bridge the gap between the common citizens and the governing authorities, ensuring a smoother flow of communication and resolution.
The senior BJP leader made these remarks while actively engaging with the public and listening to their grievances at Pt Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan in Kacchi Chawni today. Ramesh Gupta, spokesman Jammu district, Parveen Kerni president, BJP East Mandal, Jammu and Anuradha president, Mahila Morcha Jammu East accompanied the senior BJP leader.
Yudhvir underlined the importance of an accessible platform for citizens to voice their concerns and emphasized the party’s commitment to facilitating a seamless connection between the Government and the people it serves.
Highlighting the party’s strong belief in accountable governance, Sethi stated, “We, at the BJP Jammu and Kashmir, are dedicated to providing a channel for citizens to bring their issues to the forefront. Our grievance redressal mechanism acts as a bridge, ensuring that every voice is heard and every concern is appropriately addressed.”
Sethi said such grievances redressal camp served as a platform for citizens to interact directly with the party’s leadership and share their challenges and suggestions. He said BJP remains resolute in its pursuit of a transparent, accountable, and people-centric governance model. Through initiatives like the grievance redressal mechanism, the party continues to strive towards building a stronger and more connected society where the aspirations of the citizens are paramount, he added.
Earlier, the camp witnessed an overwhelming response from residents across Jammu city, as people flocked to the party office to discuss their concerns with senior BJP leaders. A diverse range of issues were raised by various deputations, seeking sought resolution on matters related to ration, education, pension, PHE, PDD, revenue, power, water scarcity, roads, development, and personal issues.
Sethi after hearing the problems, took them up with the concerned officials of the departments stressing for early resolution so that the people are not made to suffer.
