Bhalla said that Modi Government and BJP has failed to answer the vital questions regarding the security failures at Pahalgam, why Pakistan was informed about the operation Sindoor, how US announced ceasefire and how Pakistan got IMF aid after Pahalgam attack. He questioned the failures of foreign policy of Modi Government.
Accusing BJP of denying legitimate right of Statehood to people of Jammu & Kashmir, Bhalla said that Statehood is the right of people of Jammu and Kashmir and the Centre can’t deny it for too long as people will come on roads and Congress will lead from the front.
He said all sections of people are suffering due to dual control system in J&K, due to lust of power and proxy rule of BJP’s through LG rule and demanded immediate restoration of Statehood.

Chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said that people stood behind Government and forces to teach Pakistan a lesson after Pahalgam but US president suddenly announced ceasefire and now he has invited Pak army chief for lunch besides terming Pakistan as partner in fight against terror. This is very surprising and contrary to the claims of Modi Government regarding isolation of the terror country Pakistan.
