JAMMU, July 22: AIIMS Coordination Committee (ACC) today ridiculed the BJP leaders’ claims that the party respects the mandate of the people of Jammu and BJP top brass including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have strong feelings for the people of Jammu and Ladakh regions.

Abhinav Sharma said that, the plight of the people of Jammu region was never so miserable as it has been since March 1, when the BJP subverted the Jammu mandate and joined hands with the pro-self-rule and patently pro-Valley PDP for
petty political power. It bartered Jammu region to fulfill its lust for power, he added.

They have to fend themselves and fight for their own genuine cause, he added. He said political parties in the State in general and BJP in particular have shaken the faith of the people. They are made up of the same stuff.
