BJP asks cadre to gear up for Parliamentary elections

JAMMU, July 7: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir State general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul convened series of meetings and reached out to various Shakti Kendra Pramukhs, booth presidents and booth members falling under Suchetgarh Constituency to ensure the implementation of agenda set by BJP national president, Amit Shah during his visit to Jammu last month.
Ashok Kaul also chaired meeting of district office bearers at R. S. Pura district for ensuring the same. Former Minister, Sham Choudhary, district president, Brijeshwar Singh Rana, senior leader Ashwani Kumar, district general secretary (Org.) Naresh Sharma were also present in the meeting.
While interacting with the Shakti Kendra pramukhs, booth presidents and booth members, Ashok Kaul concentrated on the fact that BJP is based upon ideology and ethics. He said that the BJP is bound by the core organizational rules which regulates its working and prevents any type of deviation from core party principles.
He advised all to embed the very basics of organization for the efficient and good working as BJP is wedded to selfless service to the nation and the society.
He also asked them to gear up for the approaching Parliamentary elections. He said that a true political party must not reach the public only at the time of elections but infact remain in constant touch with the local masses as to understand their very basic needs and the expectations from the political set up and boasted that BJP truly fits in this line as it is the only party linked to the ground and always cares for the public.
Kaul stressed on strengthening of the polling booth structure in each and every segment across the length and breadth of the State. He asked to reach out to more youth pertaining to every social segment.
Sham Choudhary also addressed the meeting of the district office bearers and asked all the leaders to work sincerely for the development in the constituency. He asked them to approach him any time for any issue related to the common masses. He also ensured them that as an elected representative of the public and loyal worker of the party, he will leave no stone unturned for fulfilling the aim of Late Pt. Prem Nath Dogra and late Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee.
