On the ongoing turmoil in Valley, they called upon the public in Kashmir not to take law in their hands and understand the nefarious design of the enemies of the nation, who are bent to vitiate peaceful atmosphere in the Valley and elsewhere for their vested interests.
They requested the parents in the Valley to advise their wards asking them to refrain from indulging in violence and not allow them to take law in their hands. The incidents which have taken place in last three days are unfortunate and loss of lives of citizens is always painful, they added.
Sethi said that the militants killed by security forces is notable success for maintaining law and order and every person who takes up weapons against the nation and the citizens of India should be prepared to meet his end. Such type of elements have no place in any civilized society. Militants like Burhan are creation of extremism and intolerance of peaceful co-existence and elements like them have to be neutralized to ensure peace and stability to common man.
Rajesh Gupta noted that unfortunately even some mainstream politicians who had enjoyed power in recent past, have been making statement which are provocative and glorifying separatism and militants, which has led to more confusion and loss of death of civilians. Such leaders are playing with fire for their pity political gains and have no regards to the loss of lives of citizens just to score political point.
