JAMMU, Jan 24: All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha is going to celebrated birthday of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj on February 3.
This was disclosed by president of the Sabha Vijay Lochan during a press conference here today.
He stated that Shobha Yatra shall be organized on February 1 under the aegis of Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj, which will start from Gurudwara Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj, Krishna Nagar. After passing through Jewel Chowk, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, JP Chowk, Bus Stand, Indira Chowk, Shalamar Chowk, City Chowk, Raghunath Bazaar, Vivekanand Chowk, Prem Nagar, Gujjar Nagar will culminate at Shri Guru Ravi Dass Temple, Bahu Fort, he added.
Lochan disclosed that thousands of devotees are likely to participate in the programme.
He appealed to the district administration especially Traffic Department to plan diversion routes on the eve of Shobha Yatra, so that general public may not feel inconvenience. He also requested the JMC, Police Department, PDD and Health Department to cooperate for organizing the Shobha Yatra and birthday celebrations.
He appealed to all the presidents of branch sabhas to participate in the Shobha Yatra with beautiful and colourful jhankies along with large number of people.
Among others present were Sham Sunder Basson, Sham Lal Basson, Kesar Singh, Parshotam Thapa, Bodh Raj, Ajeet Basson, Balbir Kumar, Sat Paul, Darshan Lal, Surinder Kumar, Gulshan, Ajeet Thapa and ML Banatia.
