JAMMU, Feb 27: J&K Prajapati Sabha celebrated the 691 birth anniversary of Sant Shree Gora Ji Maharaj at Sant Gora Ji Bhawan, below Indira Chowk with great fervour and gaiety.
On the occasion, MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma was the chief guest and MLA East Rajesh Gupta was guest of honour, who paid floral tributes to Sant Gora ji along with Raghubir Singh Raja Sansi, national president, Akhil Bharatiya Prajapati Sabha, Manjit Singh Verka, general secretary, Prajapati Sabha Amritsar, Balwant Singh Nidhar, Virender Kumar Prajapati from Merrut and Prajapati LC Rathore from Delhi.
A charter of demands was placed by GR Dafaara to the chief guest for immediate consideration.
Various speakers highlighted the rich values of teachings of Sant Gora ji Maharaj.
Ayoudhya Kumar Manawa, president of the sabha while speaking impressed upon the gathering to follow the teachings of great saint.
On the occasion, the sabha also distributed blankets among poor and needy persons.
Among others present were Sidhgiri Ji, Jeet Singh, Amar Chand, Punnu Ram, Darshan Lal, Madan Lal, Romesh Chander, Ajay Kumar, Bhagat Dayanand Prajapati from Happur, UP, etc.
