Billawaria tours Ward 55, assures to solve problems

JAMMU, June 24: BJP senior leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria toured Ward 55 of Jammu South-RS Pura constituency and visited Shankar Colony and other adjoining areas of the Ward and interacted with inhabitants of the area. Some time back a deputation hailing from the Shankar Colony local residents had met the BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria and asked him to conduct an extensive tour in the Ward in order to overcome the problems faced by the residents.
People told Billawaria that they are facing power crisis in the area and need to install a new power transformer. Billawaria said maximum people met him and apprised of their problems. He said the main demand in the area was power transformers, due to which people are facing problems of low voltage.
Billawaria spoke to PDD officials on the phone and apprised about the problems of the locals. He said that officials of PDD have assured him that soon one more power transformers will be installed so that people can get relief from low voltage. He said that plans are being made by the PDD to improve the power infrastructure in the area so that quality and quantity of power supply equally benefit the said area.
He said that some time back there was also a demand of the residents of the area to put blacktopping on the main road of Shankar Colony, for which he apprised the concerned department.
He said that the Department has taken cognizance of this matter and the construction work of the road has also started.
Billawaria said BJP is committed for equal development of all sections of society.
He said that our aim is to provide basic facilities to the people at their doorsteps. He stressed the work that the Modi Government is doing will benefit the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the coming days.
Inderjit Kaur, Ajmer Chib, Hridaynath Kachru, Subhash Singh, Somnath Kumar, Opinder Thusu, Pinky Kumari were also present.
