JAMMU, Dec 27: Chairman Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and senior BJP leader Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the construction of lane and drain in Sector 3, Ward Number 56 Gangyal of Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency.
Billawaria said that the work was being done to fulfill the promises made to the people before the municipal elections. He said that the left over development work in Gangyal will be completed.
“There was competition for corruption in previous Governments. But ever since the Narendra Modi Government came to the center, there has been competition for development”, he added.
Billawaria said that the Modi Government at the Center is constantly working to provide better facilities to the general public.
“Like support in recently concluded DDC elections, the people have to extend their support in the upcoming assembly elections so that benefits of the development and public welfare schemes by the Modi Government continue to pour in”, he added.
Billawaria said that in the upcoming assembly elections, they will go among the people on the basis of development works and will connect people with the Bharatiya Janata Party on the basis of work.
He said that Jammu Municipal Corporation is working at every level to provide all kinds of basic facilities to the general public.
Ranjit Singh, Abhinandan Sharma, Durga Chaudhary, Om Nath, Jugal Kishore, Pandit Rajkumar, Dr Kharu, Hardeep Singh, Mulkh Raj, Ashok Pandita, Harvinder Singh and Dr Sunny Dhar were among others present on the occasion.
