Billawaria listens public grievances

JAMMU, Feb 5: Baldev Singh Billawaria, chairman Public Health Sanitation Committee of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) along with Health Officer, Transport Wing and JMC officials toured in Ward No. 49 Narwal of Jammu Municipal Corporation today.
He listened problems of the people of Narwal Bala, Channi Bye Pass and other surrounding areas and highlighted various important issues including laying of tiles, cleaning of streets and construction of drains in their area. Local corporator, Kamal Singh while complimenting Billawaria said that such tour program provide basic facilities to the public. He said that desilting of nallah should be on time before the rainy season.
On the occasion, Billawaria ensured the public that their demands would be met at the earliest and steps have already been taken by the JMC to provide basic amenities to the public. He said cleaning the deep drains will be completed before the rainy season. He informed that the work of cleaning all 171 drains and 103 deep drains of the city will be started early so that the work of cleaning all drains can be completed till the rainy season.
Billawaria requested the residents of the Jammu city to cooperate with the Jammu Municipal Corporation and not to use the banned polythene carry bags to keep city clean. He said that BJP follows the principle of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas” and is committed to mitigate the suffering of the people at the door steps.
