JAMMU, June 2: J&K BJP Kisan Morcha organized a seminar under the nationwide campaign “12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare”, commemorating the historic and transformative 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led Government at the Centre.
BJP Jammu & Kashmir general secretary and former Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria, participated as the chief guest in the programme, while BJP Kisan Morcha J&K in charge Hatam Singh Nagar and BJP Kisan Morcha J&K president, Rakesh Pant were present as special guests.
As part of the event, a debate competition was organized among students from various schools. Participants from ten schools took part and presented their views on themes related to nation-building, development, good governance, and public welfare. The competition witnessed vibrant discussions and reflected the awareness and aspirations of the younger generation.
Baldev Singh Billawaria, while speaking on the occasion, said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, India has witnessed unprecedented growth and transformation across all sectors over the past 12 years. He highlighted various farmer-centric initiatives, including increased financial assistance, improved agricultural infrastructure, expansion of irrigation facilities, and schemes aimed at enhancing farmers’ income and welfare.
Hatam Singh Nagar, while speaking on the occasion, said that the Modi Government has restored confidence among farmers by introducing transparent and effective policies that directly benefit the agricultural community.
Rakesh Pant, in his address, stated that the past 12 years have marked a new era of development and self-reliance for India.
Later, Baldev Singh Billawaria and other dignitaries honoured the winning schools and outstanding participants of the debate competition.
