Bill Nighy, Catherine Keener join BBC Agatha Christie mini

LOS ANGELES, July 7:  Bill Nighy, Catherine Keener and Matthew Goode have been tapped to star in BBC’s three-part mini adaptation of Agatha Christie’s “Ordeal by Innocence”.
Production on the drama will begin in Scotland this month, with Sandra Goldbacher directing for producers Mammoth Screen from Sarah Phelps’ script, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Further joining the cast are Eleanor Tomlinson, Ed Westwick, Anthony Boyle, Luke Treadaway, Morven Christie, Crystal Clarke, Ella Purnell and Alice Eve.
“‘Ordeal by Innocence’ was one of Christie’s personal favourites, and I cannot wait to see how this outstanding cast will bring her story to life under the skillful direction of Sandra Goldbacher and the Mammoth Screen production team,” said James Prichard, executive producer and executive chairman of Agatha Christie Limited.
“To have Bill Nighy and Catherine Keener head up this all-star cast really is a testament to the depth and quality of my great grandmother’s writing.” (PTI)
