JAMMU, Oct 12: A bike-borne youth was killed late last night in a road mishap at Sidhra area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a youth identified as Amit Kumar (25) son of Hans Raj, a resident of Sidhra, was killed on the spot after he was hit by an unknown vehicle at Sidhra near Peer Baba, late last night.
After conducting postmortem and completing other legal formalities, the body of the deceased was today handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
A case in this connection has been registered as concerned police station and further investigation as are underway.
