JAMMU, Mar 29: Pallanwala police arrested a biker and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pallanwala Police Post led by SI Sandeep Kumar laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AK-5920.
During checking, police team recovered 5 litres of illicit liquor from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Sunil Kumar, son of Bala Ram of Mile Di Khui, Pallanwala. He was carrying the illicit liquor for selling among the masses to make illegitimate profits.
A case under FIR Number 11/19 under section 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
