JAMMU, Aug 20: Arnia police arrested a biker along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, during patrolling, a team from Arnia police station intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police recovered 43 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Ashwani Kumar, son of Sham Lal of Arnia.
He was carrying the illicit liquor pouches to his native village for selling among the people for illegitimate profits.
A case under FIR Number 78/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Arnia police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Arnia Inspector Satish Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
