UDHAMPUR, June 24: A bike- rider was killed while his pillion rider was critically injured when their bike was hit by an Army vehicle at Malhar Road here today.
The mishap took place when 27-year-old Sohan Lal, son of Kaka Ram from Malhar and Jia Lal, son of Om Parkash of Malhar were going towards main road on their bike No. Jk-14D/7032. They were hit by an Army vehicle of TA Battalion near water point. While Sohan was died while being shifted to hospital. Jia Lal was admitted to Command Hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
