KATHUA, May 8: Two unknown persons wearing headgears tried to break the SBI ATM at Billawar late last night to steal the cash lying in it. However they failed in their attempt and fled away.
According to SHO Police Station Billawar the Bank staff came to know about the same after seeing CCTV footage in the morning which showed two unknown persons wearing headgears were trying to break the ATM. But they fled as they failed in their attempt.
He said the guard of the ATM was on leave. The Billawar Police has registered FIR Number 24 under Section 511 RPC. He said the police has started investigation in the case.
