Srinagar, July 28: During a drive against contraband cultivation, Police destroyed Bhung cultivation in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district today.
A Police spokesman said that on the directions of SSP Ganderbal, a police party of Police Station Safapora, headed by SHO Safapora carried out drive against contraband cultivation.
He said during the drive, the team with the assistance of Sericulture Department and Manasbal Development Authority destroyed Bhung cultivation in the areas of Gretbal, Bhagwan Mohalla and surrounding area of Fisheries Department.
