JAMMU, Jan 17: Chief Patron of National Panthers Party (NPP), Prof Bhim Singh, has dashed an urgent communication to Governor NN Vohra seeking his urgent intervention to save the future career of the educated youth who have been deployed by the State Government through J&K Bank in the so-called Khidmat Centres.
Prof Bhim Singh in his letter to the Governor has said that Khidmat Centre holders numbering about 1000 have been cheated by the J&K Bank as they have not been paid Rs 7500 per month as per commitment of the bank.
“Over 1000 youths were employed in Khidmat Centres, sponsored by the State Government in the name of J&K Bank and besides a payment of Rs 7500 per month, they were assured to provide office facilities and infrastructure to implement the programmes of Khidmat Centre and a payment of Rs 7500 per month but it is tragic that they were never paid the said amount and instead used as clients by the Bank”, alleged Singh.
He urged Governor to intervene into the matter to provide justice to innocent youths, who were cheated by the Bank.
