Later, Prof Singh told the media that the civil society members were vocal to say that the local police investigating the unfortunate incident, resorted to politicization by indiscriminate arrest of several youth and others just to terrorize innocent public in the area and its surroundings without any solid proof. They alleged that all this confusion is being created at the behest of certain professional politicians/legislators to Police with ulterior motives.
Prof Bhim Singh expressed deep sorrow over the said murder/rape of an innocent minor girl and sympathized with the grieved parents and family.
NPP leader lamented that a pure case of heinous crime is being intentionally messed up which is deluding the investigation to arrive at some conclusion.
