JAMMU, Sept 9: J&K National Panthers Party leader Prof Bhim Singh who is also convenor of ‘Heart to Heart Talk’ among the representatives of both sides of Jammu and Kashmir has made a strong appeal to the leadership of India and Pakistan to allow J&K ‘Heart to Heart Talk’ among the political and social representatives of both sides of J&K including Gilgit-Baltistan.
Bhim Singh in cooperation with late Sardar Mohd Abdul Qayyum Khan, leader of PoK had organized ‘Heart to Heart’ talks of both sides of J&K leadership in 2005 and again in 2007 when Dr Manmohan Singh was Prime Minister of India.
Prof Singh said that international situation demands peace between India and Pakistan and the leadership of the both the countries should allow J&K ‘Heart to Heart Talk’ among the representatives of both sides. Such a talk shall help/resolve the situation vis-à-vis Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the leadership in India and Pakistan should give a chance to the leadership of Jammu and Kashmir from both sides. The leadership of J&K is acquainted with the complication/conflict and they jointly are capable/efficient enough to work out an amicable solution of the situation prevailing in J&K whose Ruler in 1947, Maharaja Hari Singh had acceded to the Union of India and the Accession signed by the Ruler had approval of the Act of British Parliament signed for the independence of India.
NPP leader said that the leadership of both sides of J&K is matured enough and has been experimenting with the situation for 70 years since the Accession of J&K with the Union of India. The leadership wise enough and understands the urgency to resolve Indo-Pak tension over Jammu and Kashmir.
Peace is possible between India and Pakistan if the leadership of both sides of J&K is permitted to continue talks which was started in 2005 in New Delhi. NPP Supremo said if the leadership of J&K from both sides is given an opportunity to talk to one and other Jammu and Kashmir situation can be resolved as Accession signed by Maharaja Hari Singh was final and accepted in the International Laws as well as according to the India’s Independence Act by British Parliament.
He said that war is no solution to this problem between two brotherly nations who split in 1947 but both has an opportunity and occasion to talk to each other as J&K Accession with Union of India is all settled. The problem is only about the final and future status of PoK, Gilgit & Baltistan.
