NEW DELHI, Aug 3: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), a Public-sector power equipment maker, today reported a decline of 49.45 per cent in its net profit at Rs 465.43 crores for the quarter ended June 30, 2013.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 920.90 crore for the corresponding quarter last finanicial year.
Total Income has decreased from Rs 8,805.28 crores for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 to Rs 6,996.60 crores for the quarter ended June 30, 2013, registering a decline of 20.54 per cent, BHEL said in a regulatory filing. (UNI)
