BHADERWAH, Feb 20: The Double Bench of High Court of J&K comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Dheeraj Singh Thakur in its interim order passed directions to Block Medical Officer (BMO) Bhaderwah to ensure round the clock emergency services available in old Sub District Hospital (SDH) for the convenience of the patients.
Terming High Court interim order as a landmark decision, BHBF convener Ranbir Manhas during protest demonstration said that the interim order of the HC will provide much relief to the patients who were suffering after shifting of SDH to a far flung area from the town.
Manhas said that the protest will continue till the interim order of the High Court is implemented in letter and spirit thereby providing some relief to the people.
He demanded round the clock emergency services, day-night deployment of doctors and nursing staff besides opening of round the clock X-Ray and clinical labs, he added.
The Front will wait for the final judgment of the High Court with the belief that the matter will be decided on its merit, Manhas added.
Among others present were Abdul Haq Zargar, Kalyan Singh Kotwal, Raj Singh Charak, Manzoor Ahmed Najar, Bal Krishan, Mohammad Saleem Butt, etc.
