Bhatia Cricket Club outplays Raja Warriors CC by 13 runs

JAMMU, May 18: Bhatia Cricket Club got the better of Raja Warriors Cricket Club by a narrow margin of 13 runs in the ongoing District Level JKCA Premier Championship, being organized by
J&K Cricket Association at Hostel Ground GGM Science College, here.
The Tournament is being organized under the overall supervision of retired Judge Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, while the organizing committee includes Rajesh Gill, Rajesh Dhar, Vijay Saberwal, Harsh Nayyar, Vijay Sharma and Sachin Singh.
Earlier, Bhatia Cricket Club (BCC) won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, BCC scored 174 runs in 26.4 overs. Monish Singal played a brilliant innings of 59 runs off 57 balls, studded with 4 fours and 1 six, while Sachin contributed 42 off 25 balls and Shubham chipped in with 13 runs. Ajaz and Rohit took 3 wickets each for Raja Warriors Cricket Club.
In reply, Raja Warriors Cricket Club managed to score 161 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 30 overs, thus lost the match by a narrow margin of 13 runs. Adil scored magnificent 52 runs off 40 balls, with 5 fours and one six, while Vikas Raina contributed 43 runs off 34 balls with 7 boundaries and 1 six. Ankaj took 3 important wickets from Bhatia Cricket Club, while Parnik and Bodh Raj claimed 2 wickets each. Monish Singal of Bhatia Cricket Club was declared as the man of the match. The match was officiated by Amit Gupta and Sadiq Hussain Malik as umpires, while Sandeep Manchanda was the scorer.
In tomorrow’s fixture, All Stars XI Bantalab will take on Vishal Cricket Club.
