MENDHAR, Apr 26: Bhati Dhar village near the Line of Control in Mankote area of district Poonch is without power supply for the last about two weeks.
The villagers alleged that power transformer installed by PDD authorities at the village went out of order about two weeks ago. The concerned field staff was informed about the matter but they have failed to restore power till today. The people of the area are facing lot of hardships.
They alleged that this transformer which was installed hardly one and half month back again got damaged and an inquiry should be held about sub-standard repair work being conducted in the department workshops.
